Introduction

The most beautifully decorated pub I have visited. The art work on the walls is superb and the attention to detail, even the toilets are beautiful.

Facilities & Entertainment

Very busy, fantastic atmosphere, warm welcome. We went for Sunday lunch after a walk.

Food on Offer

We all had a superb roast. I had roast beef, lots of meat and everything was cooked perfectly. The red cabbage was also delicious.

I followed this with a dessert, not something that I normally do, but the food was such a high standard. I had the waffle with ice cream, banana and honey sauce. Again, superb.

The meal was memorable for all the right reasons, possibly the best pub meal I’ve had in the past 5 years. Will definitely return.

Beers on Tap

I just ordered a soda and lime. Often places get the mix wrong, here it was perfect.

Price Range & Value

Good portion sizes. Yes, it is pricey these days to eat a roast, but I don’t mind paying when the food is as good as this.

Customer Service

Warm welcome as we arrived. Our table was waited on by numerous staff and they buzzed around us perfectly.

Quite rare in this country to get properly served, but here it was great. Attentive without disrupting conversations and we didn’t have to wait on drinks.

Events & Special Nights

If our dog was younger we would attend the organised breakfast and walk. Such a great idea, haven’t seen that before anywhere.

Atmosphere & Accessibility

Decor was stunning, lovely atmosphere, buzzing.

Location & Nearby Attractions

We drove from Tunbridge Wells as we had found the circular walk online.

Overall Impression

10/10 on every level. Can’t wait to return with friends again. Well done to the owners.
